How long have you been in business?
Unique Travel Concepts has been helping our family of travelers for over 38 years.
What is your primary product or service?
Creating and booking travel arrangements for our leisure and corporate travelers. Which can include individualized travel itineraries, group travel, destination weddings, honeymoons, family reunions, guided tours, multigenerational trips, and very specialized trips. Quilters, bird enthusiasts, safaris, diving, biking and even culinary trips.

How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
My husband and I were really re-introduced to travel when we started chaperoning the Grossmont High School Red Robe Choir on their European tours.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We have a beautifully inviting historical home that is our office. If you make an appointment to take advantage of our free tip planning, we have a pot of tea and cookies waiting for you, allowing you to relax and get comfortable as we get to know each other and your travel desires.
This is the key to planning and implementing a complete travel package for our clients.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one storefront in the Downtown La Mesa Village. If the opportunity became available I would consider the possibility of expansion.

We are quite accessible from the 8 freeway or the 94. We are right off of Spring street which connects both of these major freeways.We are at 4679 Date Avenue between Lemon avenue and La Mesa Blvd. Call us for an individualized set of directions to our business.

Which areas do you service?
We are conveniently located in the Downtown Village of La Mesa. However, many of our clients enjoy the flexibility of communicating by email, phone and sometimes texting. So our boundaries of service are not limited.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
It is a corporation of which I am the President.
What are your hours of operation?
Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:30PM
Saturdays and evenings by appointment only.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
I strive to be like Jesus. I guess the best compliment would be that they recognize that desire.
