How long have you been in business?
We have over 20 years of industry experience. I started in 1990 after getting my honorable discharge from the US Navy. We started The Printing Crew in July of 2011, so we are in our second year of operation and things are going great!
What is your primary product or service?
We specialize in sourcing all printed products. With our years of experience, we know who locally can produce a top quality product at the best price. With our trade pricing, we are able to get our clients better pricing than they can get going direct to print and we know the products and vendors well enough to know who to use for each order. We take the guesswork out of printing for our clients. We are like a printing concierge and the best thing is you get our expert input but still pay less than trying to figure it out yourself.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I got into the printing business as a "helper" working the graveyard shift at a company called Trade Service Publications in La Jolla. we would print the nighty "Racing Digest" which is a Horse Racing handicapping aid. The Digest is still printed here locally to this day.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are brokers who have taken our years of local experience and found a way to offer the best quality products to our clients at the best pricing. We send work to many different local San Diego businesses that our in our provider network. We personally oversee each job and we take the guess work out of our clients printing process.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We area virtual location and we hope to continue to build our client base virally and through referalls and word of mouth.

What are your hours of operation?
We are available 24/7 for emergency orders. Our normal hours are 8am-5pm but we pride ourselves on being responsive and we aggressively go after earning our clients trust. When they call, we make ourselves available no matter the day or time. We try and return any missed call within 30 minutes, no matter the day or time.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
We pride ourselves on customer satisfaction. Yes, we want to make money but being looked at as competent and trustworthy is even more important. When a client refers us to someone or reorders, that feels great because that means they trust in our work and are confident we will take care of their project.
What is your favorite quote or Bible verse?
I could typed about 20 in here from Caddyshack.....call me old school but that movie slays me every time!
